2010 C350 - Keyless Go and other questions.
Hi guys! New owner here.. picking her up on Tuesday.Have a couple questions regarding Keyless go and the iPod interface.
So i ran a vin decoder and saw that i have option 889 KEYLESS-GO.. but no start/stop button in the ignition.. im guessing that someone took out the button and it needs to be replaced.. question is.. is it as simple as just buying a new button or is there coding involved? (i have keyless entry btw.. its all one package right?)
Second questions is i believe it has NTG4 navi system... but i am also missing the iPod interface cable.. does anyone have a part number.. i'd like the one with iPod/USB/AUX all in one if possible.

The start button is really just a plastic metallic cover that goes over the spot where the key FOB get plugged in. I doubt there is any coding involved, but the part is probably not cheap, and will only be available from a Mercedes dealer. You may want to push to get the part replaced as a condition of your purchase, or at least use it to negotiate a better price. Should be good for at least $100 off!

thats ridiculous! 60 Canadian doesn't sound right unless the price is jacked up there( well Canada does have ridiculous import taxes and fees...).

Exchange rate it something like 0.73 cad for 1 usd.. that makes up for some of it.. plus the 13% the government wants on all sales.
