Comand Online & Android 6.0 System
Hello everyone. This is my first post in this forum so please be gentle.
As a hobby I've been working on an android system that works with the original Comand Online of my car. I had some help from more experienced friends on installing my first prototype system via A/V interface approximately a year ago. Since then I've been improving system absolutely as an hobby and totally without a commercial purpose.
The system works totally independent from the phone. For working in an optimized state, it only needs an active internet connection. For this, I use my phone as an hotspot or a usb cellular dongle.
System works totally integrated with the Comand Online and all of the original properties and notifications are intact.
I created a video for my system because I wanted to share its final state with the world after all this time. I hope y'all enjoy it.

I didnt want to post a very long text explaining how its done initially. I was planing on posting more details about the system and how its done if people get interested.

In other words, you might not get 100 people to express interest, within a week of posting this... But, over time, this thread will more than likely turn into many many pages long as long as you are willing to continue to field questions and help with diagnosing setups that the rest of us might screw up.
So along the lines of the old saying "build it and they will come", in this case, its "share it and they will come". Ultimately, the choice is yours!

When I have time (I hope it is gonna be soon) I will prepare a diy post, starting from how to use an android system with comand online and continue with how to program it to behave exactly like the one in the video.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
Nah but that looks really awesome. I installed a aftermarket radio and put a tablet in place on my screen in the 2010 C300. I would like to make a hybrid like this.
