Finding the Best Dealer in Michigan
Hello all
As my car is in for service at the dealer, I look online at all the reviews and start to realize a pattern and how my experience is similar to the negative reviews.
One such item that comes to mind is a loaner car. The dealer I am at will not give a loaner car while my car is in service since I did not buy the car at their dealership.
My buddy with a BMW 435 gets a loaner anytime the service is over a few hours and he did not buy his at the dealer.
To the Benz dealer credit they did drive me 5 miles to work. but little things like that and not being able to figure out what was wrong with my w202 c class starts to align with the bad reviews.
My current c250 is my daily driver and after my wedding I plan to get the toy and i really want to find a good dealer that actually can be professional and give me that good feeling when I leave. That exceeds all my expectations. When dropping that kind of money, I do not want to be let down.
Does anyone have any suggestions for good dealers in the detroit metro , MI area?

Sounds like you're at MB of Novi? If not, I would not recommend that location as they're exactly as you, and the poor reviews, are describing. I took my W204 there for the first time for service B this month and when I got my car back they had the front and rear tire pressure reversed on my passenger side... 44 in front and 36 in back... what??? Also when I asked about a loaner they said I needed to request one 2 weeks in advance and that they have a shuttle with something like a 10 mile radius. Also they seem to love to find reasons to charge more than what's quoted, which is to be expected, but they really go for it.
Haven't gone to any of the other locations yet. I might try out Rochester or Bloomfield next. Hell, maybe even Ann Arbor.
