neutral position sensor (manual box)
hi i have a few fault codes popping up causing the eco stop /start function to disappear rendering the "eco" button unresponsive and stop start not activating
the codes that appears are p082096 ,p082011 and p082001 all these faults relate to a "transmission neutral position " electrical fault /short to ground/component fault
i took my car to a local indi who pulled these codes and ordered the part and replaced it today only for the codes to come back with seconds or restart , i am concerned they ordered/changed the wrong part , i know the sensor they changed is on the top of the box so i guess i am asking do any of you guy know were the natural position sensor is on the manual box and what it looks like 2011 (c220 blue efficiency )
thanks in advance !

hi
I have the same problem with mine
Went to garage today in UK to get it checked out, the dignostic came back as the same 3 codes you mentioned.. brought a brand new battery for the eco system which is situated at the back of the boot.. but didn't work
Can you please tell me what you did for yours to work again?.. what was the fault in your vehicle
Thanks

Did anybody found the neutral position sensor?
Hi
I have the same problem with this neutral position sensor on manual gearbox, the rear camera is not working anymore and also the reverse lights. Any ideas how to solve this issue?

I have the p082011 error and I'd also like to know what I'm looking at. Fairly sure the ECO battery is in good order, certainly is showing good volts.
ECO is randomly lost, works intermittently and yeah the ECO button can only be turned off I believe?
Anyway can post my VIN if the helpful member is still monitoring the thread. Possibly unlikely, but....
