Remote start: (with Keyless go built in?)
Does anyone know of a solution to add in remote start aftermarket for cars with keyless go?
I know mid city engineering has ways to add keyless go after the fact + add a remote starter for a billion $, but in my case, I already have keyless go..
Thanks!

Hello, we do have a remote start only for your vehicle that works with Keyless Go. You will be able to do key takeover with the push button and lock/unlock the doors while the engine is remote started. The T-harnessing and keyless go connections are 100% plug and play. The module that fits your vehicle can be found on our website here: https://www.midcityengineering.com/p...er-sksng204d3/
Feel free to give us a call at 312-421-1114 if you have any questions.
The remote start + keyless start kit is a new solution to retrofit factory keyless start to compatible DAS4 ignition systems (such as th G-Wagon, which does not offer keyless start or keyless go as a factory option).
Feel free to give us a call at 312-421-1114 if you have any questions.

I have a mid city remote in my 2014 ML. Let me tell you it is great!!!! The folks at Mid City are great. I have a Das4 unit and needed to provide a key for the installation but well worth it not having to deal with MBrace. The key is secured in the dash in a secured box. Let me tell you this, " Trust these fine folks" they have always treated me right and answered all support questions (how configure option settings) even after hours if they were there, and stayed on the phone until I was done setting options.
I also have one in my 2008 E350 and did not need a key but the new Mercedes Das technology requires it now.
Both cars use existing key fobs and I can also use my iPhone to start the cars when I'm too far away or inside a building.

Not a problem at all. There are no security ramifications. When car is remote started, you still will need the key in order to drive. Additionally, for your W204, there is no need for an extra key. If it did require an extra key, the key would be disabled, however no extra key is needed for your vehicle.
