Rear wheels are not aligned?
I was just told by the service rep that the rear wheels of my car are not aligned properly and as a consequence the tires are worn unevenly.
This is the very first time I've heard that rear wheels can actually be misaligned. Is that even possible?

MB cheaped out. I learned this the hard way
Inquire about caster/camber bolts. You may need to add this to actually get a perfect alignment. Why MB cheaped out on this is beyond me.
Yes, it's stupid. Yes, I've raised it up the chain to MB Corporate. No, they don't care.

Oh, wow! That's a shame. As I'm new to MB my expectations of this brand were high but have been lowered considerably in the last few months: I have a 15(!) year old 'entertainmaiment' system in my car which MB doesn't bother to upgrade with software updates and an old navigation 'system' that's now discontinued by the third-party manufacturer.

Herbert,
Rear axle camber is not adjustable but rear toe is by a cam bolt on my 2 wheel drive.
I have always had the problem of rear tyre wear on the inside of the tread. It is the result of the original camber setting being too great for my sedate type of cornering. You can buy adjustable after market camber adjustment rods at about $400. You may be able to find details on the site in the search forum.
I have partially got around the problem with rotation front to rear.
