Do some Command systems come without a Phone Book app?

Do some Command systems come without a Phone Book app?
Hello,
no sure anyone can help. Just purchased a 2012 GLK 350 and do not see an option to add a new entry into Telephone 'phone book'. When I click 'Tel' button, I only see 'Tel', 'Name' and 'Call Lists' as available options. Clicking 'Name' shows message 'The phone book is Empty', BUT do not see an option to add a new one. Also, when I click 'Call Lists', only options available are 'Calls Received', 'Calls Dialed' and 'Delete Call Lists'. Is it possible that the base offering for the system does not offer a 'Phone Book'?

Congratulations on your new purchase and welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy it for years to come.
As for your question, did your car come with a manual? If so, your question is explained in there. If you do not have a Command manual you can either download it from the Mercedes website or look on page 128 in the manual I have attached here.
