MB C-klasse CDI 200 Avantgarde 2009
MB CDI200 (year 2009) - EPS, EBD, ABS and Power steering
MB CDI200 (2009, Avantgarde) starting to indicate EPS, EBD, ABS fault after speed is accelerated over 20km/h and then also power steering goes off.
Then turning off the engine and re-starting the error goes away and re-appears. In beginning it did not re-appear every time but no more constantly.
Error code 2001 indicating EPS unit - is that correct. Can there be other root reason like low battery and this is random error due to it?

MBWorld Fanatic!
A lot of weird electrical problems can occur when the battery is weak. I would have the battery load tested & alternator output checked as a first step.
