W204 Japanese to uk
I got a Japanese spec w204, obviously everything is in Japanese like sat nav etc
Is there a way to change it , for example is there a command unit you can change?

Not sure or not if Japanese is one of the available options, but if you look on page 44 of the Command manual, it explains how to change the language. However, if this particular car was originally intended or came from the Japanese market there might be more differences programmed into the car. If you do not have a manual you can download it at the Mercedes website. I tried to attach it here, but the file size was too large.
Just curious, DID this car come from Japan and, if so, why is it in the UK and why did you buy it? Seems like it would be way to expensive to ship it there, plus, there has to be a gazillion other C300s in the UK or Europe that I would think would be much less expensive. Basically, why this particular car?

Hi,
I put a band expander in my c200 so it picks up FM channels, did not worry about the maps.
