I recently bought a 2010 C350 CDI. I would like to try to get the firmware on my COMAND unit upgraded and I know some people were successful in doing so under warranty by telling their dealer they had a bluetooth connectivity problem.

I have no idea how long the warrant lasts for a UK car. Can anyone advise me?

3 years from brand new I think. Only the Koreans do longer ones IIRC. You should have a got a limited 6 month one from your dealer since your vehicle is 7 years old...

Thank you. I did get a 6 month warranty but I vaguely recall that it didn't cover the COMAND system. I shall have to check the wording on the documentation.
