Headlight Bulb HELP
I need a pro's opinion...
I just got a new headlight for those who don't know (damn DUCK) now the new light is more of a yellow. compared to the white/blush other side.
1. should i go back to the bodyshop to get a new bulb? and see if that helps
2. should i just buy a new bulb for the other side?
3. should i upgrade to something brighter/better than OEM?(just want something of quality that will at least last me 100,000KM++++ like the OEM ones have)
i really hate ducks now
thanks for the help.

Would replace both bulbs. Would pick bulbs based on color and both sides will match. In your current setup, if your other goes out (that bulb is old) you could end up with mismatched bulbs again.

I am not aware of any HID bulb that will 'break in' with such a large change in
color. I believe that it will be more subtle and thus, may never really change
from daylight yellow over to blue/white. This is based on my mental vision of
the color and your worded description....absent any photo. $225 ... D1S ?

It doesn't take 150 hours to break in HID bulbs. They will typically fully break in after casual driving for a week or two depending on level of usage.... roughly 20-30 hours. You could try swapping the bulbs left and right to make sure the issue follows the bulb and doesn't stay on the socket for some odd reason, but most likely you just have a bad bulb. Try to get it covered by warranty. If not, we have top end Morimoto units available if interested.
