Rearended!!!

So I got rear ended in my 2010 300 4matic... its not very severe but does anyone have a cutaway of how the bumper/cover is put together... Im trying to figure out if its just a simple bumper cover(upper and lower) replacement or something more to it... the only thing that I see bent is the exhaust slightly, which I can fix myself...from underneath the actual bumper looks fine...but the covers are toast... trying to decide if I want to fix myself and pocket the insurance check or go ahead and have a shop do it....

Great diagrams on line of parts lists. You will not know if have significant damage till you disassemble.

are you sure you won't need a rebar ect. I needed a rebar, bumper respray/ fix, total cost was about $4000.

Agree with Marko. You will not know extent of damage till disassembled. Had an accident with my c class front bumper caused by someone else. Looked minor. Repair was over 3000.00

if the hit was strong enough to bend your exhaust, then that impact could potentially have caused damage to you engine as well.
