Will this do the dynamic lines on a W204? The W204s have never had that.
What about the offset on the back camera? Or does this replace the rear OEM? It's off center and has been theorized as to why there are no dynamic lines on this generation.
Can you post pictures of this working from the Comand screen in a W204?
OMG, I would love this but it sounds too good to be true. No more ripping the front bumper off or hitting the unexpected parking lot curb islands.

If you have factory backup camera, then it is replaced with our camera.

How does the video quality compare to the factory w204 camera? Does it still have the "looks like there is Vaseline on the lens" look?
How is the night time performance?
Does the rear camera have the same off center issue the factory camera has?
I don't know how Mercedes managed to find such poor quality cameras manufactured in the 21st century.
I routinely have to drive backwards and around obstacles on a small single lane farm road. In a W205 it's a piece of cake but near impossible with the W204 backup camera.

Here's screenshot at night.
Rear camera has to be slightly off center due to trunk handle location.

Sorry if I 'm asking too many questions but I'm very interested in this product.
I noticed you mentioned optional navigation card.
If we already have a Comand HU with navigation does this still function or disrupt the existing navigation system? Does this navigation fully integrate into the dash and other controls the same way the OEM version does?
The reason I ask is this seems like it could be a way to upgrade out of date maps as they are rather expensive to upgrade.
How do the guide lines manage to function with the off center camera on the W204? I know from personal experience this make a big difference in the view presented in the car.
Is the controller based on original Mercedes electronics/controllers? From the looks of it I would guess it's the same system used on the current generation cars.
Does this function with telematics or mbrace in any sort of way?
If you don't want to post answers publicly please feel free to PM.
