Garmin has to be better than the Becker Map pilot I installed on my 2013. I bought the car prewired for the becker unit. I bought the unit on ebay.


It works fine, but she can't pronounce state abbreviations or routes worth a damn. Atleast all the Garmins I've had could speak correctly.


When the directions include a route number, I expect it to pronounce the word "Route" not spell the abbreviation as "RTE", or say ninety-five "95", not nine-five.
