2012 C250
P0138 and P0453 Codes
I don't know if this is coincidence but CEL came on a day after I washed my engine. I've been washing m engine bay for a long time and this is the first time this happened.


P0138 - I might have accidentally sprayed water in the air intake. Could this be the cause why the 02 sensor is acting up? Could it also be the blue smoke I get when I start my car in the morning (banjo bolt)?


P0453 - I cleaned around the gas cap. Water might have spilled in the breather. Will this go away on it's own?


Any information is highly appreciated.
