2014 C300 HID Install. Where to mount Ballast ?
Hey all
I have decided to install HID lights on my low beams for 2014 C300 Sport.
I have been browsing through different videos regarding where to mount the ballast.. Some have shown as using screws to bolt the ballast while some have used double sided 3m tapes and zipties..
I have decided to go with the second option of using 3m Tapes and zipties as i dont wanna drill any extra holes..
I was wondering if someone could please post pictures of where to secure the ballast.. as to which is best place to secure the ballast using the 3m tapes so as it doesnt get overheated and at the same time remains secure.
Any pictures would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Depends on what type/size of ballast you have, but mine came with a mounting bracket I could attach (with screws), and then I just undid what I think is one of the radiator support bolts (10MM socket w/an extension), added the ballast mounting bracket, then replaced the bolt. No extra holes needed. This bolt is located almost directly below the high beam dust cover.
Again, every ballast, is different, and based on the size, it may not fit, but this is what I ended up doing.
