Replacing the Crankcase Cover (Oil Air Separator) on 2008 C300 Sport W204

I had a serious leak on my 2008 C300 Sport. The culprit was this little part, the "Oil Separator". It apparently goes by a lot of names. Independent dealer wanted $70 for the part + labor. Part # is 2720631. There's another aftermarket part on there for like $24, but I felt weird about buying something that cheap for my MB.

Best price I could find for the genuine MB part was on Amazon for $58 and free shipping with Prime.

Old on the left, new on the right.

Tools needed are a VERY slim socket wrench with a E10 socket (you can buy a whole Torx E Socket set for $9.99 at Harbor Freight) and or a 5/16 wrench. I had to use the 5/16 for two of the screws most of the way because of the spacing. It's seriously as easy as unscrewing four screws and putting them back on - but the area to do it is very small.

Here's a video I found on how to do it - thought it'd be good to share in case someone else runs into this as well.
