2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport 3.0L FLEX
2008 C300 Sport - Does my car have "PRESAFE"?
I was looking through my fuses and saw that my fuses in my trunk ("boot") on 50, and 51 (both 50A) are for something called PRESAFE. I googled PRESAFE and it appears that the features for PRESAFE didn't get put on the C300 until after 2014. Is that right, or am I missing something? My model is a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport w/Flex fuel.

I think PRESAFE is tied with Distronic. Does your car have adaptive cruise control?

Then you don't have the sensors or hardware for PRESAFE.

Just curious, then, why do I have two fuses already pre-installed for PRESAFE?

Presafe has nothing to do with distronic. It has to do with what happens to car in event of a possible collision. It tightens seat belts. Adjusts head restraints. There is a version designed on new cars with distronic. Presafe came out in 2008 or 2009. I do not know when it was first placed on w204 c class. My 14 c class has it. It does not have distronic.
