c220 cdi elegant 2009
hi i have c220 cdi elegant auto 2009 if i start an engine while on idle the rev counter plays, up and down and the car want to stop running at times it does stop running especial if it is cold.even when following other cars bumper to bumper it just want to stop running then i assist by acceleration.please help me to know what will be a problem and would it cost me arm and a leg.

Clean the mass airflow sensor
If your vehicle has a particle filter take it for a high speed run IE 100Kmh for 40 minutes
