Vehicle Locator App
The Mercedes me App has a vehicle locator with it. How does this work ?
Is it finding the vehicle through GPS or how ??
I read that it was only good if the vehicle is within one mile of you. Great
for finding the car in a Parking Lot, but if someone takes the car, what good
is it ?

The app is variable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have had it work sporadically inside in a mile and distances longer than a mile. It has occurred this way with both my cars. I believe it works with GPS. Today I used it on both my cars. One was less than a mile and one was 4 miles away and it worked great.
