Front ceiling lamp not working
Ok folks, strange problem here.
So today i decided to install some led stripes on the front ceiling lamp dome. I installed, they worked, but my mistake mixed the negative and positive wires at the conector.
I thought that some fuse needed to be changed, as was not getting power.
Check all the fuses (front and back) and all is ok!
The maps lights work!
I cant get to manage to have those light to work!
Is strange as everything works! checked all switches (on/off), all OK.
Some one can give me some idea?

LED lights are polarized. It could be you've put the bulbs in the wrong way. Take the bulbs out and rotate them 180 degrees and reinsert them. If you were messing with wiring you could have them reversed.

I know that.
I was doing a project at home by changing the led lamp for 3 led stripes (below max amps).
I test with dome light installed and it look great (will post photo later).
The problem is that when i was testing, when putting the spliced negative and positive wire inside connector, they touched..
Since then i dont have that light working. Even with the led lamp and halogen lamp.
Check the four fuses for lamps (2, 3, 17 and another one i cant remember..).
I am lost...

Sorry but I missed the part about touching the wires together.
I'm sure no expert on MB electrical systems but a couple of things occur to me. Are all of those lights on the same fuse? If so and everything else works the problem is in the line that's out. Wonder if it's possible the connector is burned or fused inside. If you can get a volt meter into the wires you can tell if the are hot or not. The only other thought is that the line is on another fuse you haven't found yet. Beyond that I'm lost too.
Good luck. Hopefully someone smarter than me will come to your aid.
