How to remove screen on top of dash.

How to remove screen on top of dash.
So I parked the car and got one of those parking tickets that you have to put on the dash.

Well, it fell down between the front of the dash and the windshield in front of the drivers side. Is there a way to remove the mesh screen? I have the correct plastic trim removal tools, but I don't want to start prying if it doesn't come up, and end up damaging it.

Luckily I was able to use a long pair of tweezers and get it out.
