I've searched but cannot find any tips or guides on installing an aftermarket amplifier to the factory COMAND system. I already have the amp and sub from my previous vehicle, am really good at stereo installation, but have no idea how to tap into this car

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you looking for signal or power options? I would think you could use a line ouput converter off the factory sub for signal and find power on the passenger side of the trunk. But let me know because I want to do the same.
