Eco start/stop

Eco start/stop
I'm curious what other's opinions are on this. I typically turn it off, as I'd rather burn a little gas than buy new starters.
I also drive in lots of stop-and-go traffic, so the thing may restart 40 times on one drive.
What are your thoughts?

I turn it off as soon as I start the car, it stretches too many parts on the long run (including timing chain and tensioner, rails bearings etc) and fuel consumption benefits are barely noticeable.

Whenever I have a car with eco start/stop, I turn it off immediately. The AC switches off when the car turns off and I'm stuck in the intersection with warmish air coming through the vents. It also jolts the car so much that it's just annoying and not worth the fuel savings. I agree with others on it puts unnecessary strain on the car for little benefit.
