Car "hops" on bumps at higher speed

Car "hops" on bumps at higher speed
I just bought a 2014 C300 4Matic Sport with 4,800 miles a month ago. The car is great, but at higher speeds the car feels like it hops to one side or the other when hitting certain (not all) bumps at higher speeds. I can feel my body jerk a little to the side as the car hits certain bumps. I talked to the dealer and they said it was normal for that car and those road conditions. But none of my other cars did that and I've been driving this route for over 20 years.
My question is, does anyone have or had this same thing happen? Is it normal for this car and it's setup (staggered sized wheels, suspension, etc). If it's not normal, what could it be? The dealer records did show a left rear tire replacement for a "blowout" last year. But they said everything looks fine underneath.
