Adding navigation to 2015 C300

I bought my daughter a 2015 certified pre-owned C300 that says its Navigation wired so I'm told I can just buy the navigation card off ebay or Amazon and just install it myself.

Anyone have experience doing do so? Any tips to doing so correctly?

Look in the glove box and see if you have the nav box. If you do, you should be able to purchase just the Nav kit that includes the card, and a usb adapter. I have nav, but I always use my cell phone (WAZE) as I get active traffic data too.

If still want to add it... get one off of Ebay or Amazon that includes the usb adapter so you can update the firmware as needed. This does NOT update the maps.. Just the NAV OS. Not uncommon to have maps over 4 years old on the card.

Factory nav looks nice... but just not up to what my phone can do for free. Waze gets free map updates too. $200.00 for MB.

Wrong forum. That belongs in the W205 forum.

The moderators need to change the designation on the Mercedes-Benz Sedan page as it lists the W204 forum as "2008 to Present". Confusing for new members.

Well this story ends very well because when we went to pick up the car apparently the previous owner must've bought the nav card and left it in the car because the nav system is up and running. Very nice surprise.
