Engine fan and AC problems
The AC on my car stopped working recently, when I press the AC button it flashed 3 times and shuts off. After doing some research I found that the R134a gas could be low so I ordered a bottle with a pressure gauge. Since I wanted to check if there are other problems on my car I also ordered an obd scanner. When I hooked up the scanner it said that the AC gas was low (919100) and I have another fault code (20D6-002 and 20D6-000) that indicates my engine fan M4/7 is shorted. Upon inspection the fan is indeed not working. I took the fan out but I don't know if I should replace it or is there a short somewhere else (the fan unit part number is 1137328230).
For the AC when I plugged the pressure gauge to fill gas there were already plenty of R134a gas on the lines so I didn't add any but the scanner still shows 0 bar. Can this be a faulty pressure sensor? or is it linked with the engine fan short?
I am stuck and I don't know what to do, help will be much appreciated. Thank you
My car is a w204 2008 c200 cdi model engine 204.007
