looking to buy a 2014 c300 w204. Is this a reliable car?
hello, first post on here. I am currently test driving a 2014 c300 w204 73000km. Are these reliable cars? I don't have any experience with mb. my current car is a Cadillac CTS. is there anything I should be looking out for or any advice? I did notice that the engine seems to have an audible ticking noise when parked beside a wall. I understand that these cars have direct inject and could be noisy but I am unsure if this is normal? thank you for your time

Yes, normal. You'll find two crowds. One who swears by direct injection and ones to are wary about HPFP, Direct Injection, carbon buildup etc.
Life's about managing risks. It's up to you to see if you want to take this risk (mind you more and more cars are now using DI).
Other than that, the cars are pretty reliable. (surprisingly reliable IMHO)
