Every time I go through a drive-thru or leave from a stop, I hear a loud squeak/ squeal coming from the rear left of the car. I've read on the forums and saw that other people had the same problem but it was back in 2009 or 2010, but my car is a 2014 C350 coupe and I couldn't find any information pertaining to that problem. I took the car to the dealer and they claimed it was the brake pads causing the noise, this noise started after they fixed a previous problem with loose heat shielding under the car. Can anyone add to this, or advise what I should do as this is the first Merc that I've owned under warranty.

 

Heat shield needs to be bent slightly back away from brake rotor .
Can easily happen when doing brake work
Or in your case a repair.
