How much can I expect the dealer to charge me to replace both headlamp bulbs?

One of the easiest things to change yourself. Not mention, you can order better/brighter bulbs than OEM bulbs that the dealer offers.

I upgraded mine recently. One went in ok and I'm still struggling with the other, lol. I can't get it locked in.

There is a metal clamp that you need to keep (it looks like it is part of the bulb). It's kind of hard to unlatch. You'll need a small screwdriver to pry it off. Then after that getting the bulb to lock back into the headlamp can be painfully tricky.

I've changed plenty of bulbs in various cars and it can still be a pita. The design of those things isn't conducive to replacement.

But the light output is much improved. I got a pair of Sylvania Silver Star Ultra bulbs. I had a passenger comment how easy it was to see with the headlights. He thought I had Xenon headlamps. The original OEM bulbs are downright terrible.

lol. I got as far as the retaining clip but couldn't get the darn thing off, I am sure its a easy method but unable to get it undone at the moment. The drivers side is more difficult to work with since there is very little room compared to the passenger side. When I get a chance I will watch the youtube videos again and try once more but if I still can't get it done then will ask my coworker to help me out.

Be careful with those Sylvanias. I had them “cloud” the inside of my headlight lenses. Not sure if it was some sort of discharge from the bulb, or maybe they ran too hot? Made my lenses look 15 years old in a few months.

Some large chain auto parts stores will change them for you - if you buy them from them.

Push the rataining clip away from you and then aside and it'll come off.

I've also heard they don't last too long. But I was in a bind being on a long road trip in the mountains. I was lucky to find an auto parts store.

I'm worried about my headlamp as I lost my cap on the passenger side and I still haven't been able to get that bulb to lock in place. As many times as I've done it, it either takes me 30 seconds to change one of those things out or it turns into a serious pain. I think part of the difficulty is the angles and limited access to the area. I've seen plenty of shops botch up bulb installs too.
