i have recently installed 3" morimoto mini H1 projectors in a W204 headlight which gives light output that is incomparable. i had to replace the existing headlight projectors with these ones. it requires some mods to the mounting plate but is definitely worth it. the original OEM projectors are of poor quality and is even worse when the projector reflector is discoloured / faded. when they are like this no light can be reflected onto the road. i could barely see one meter ahead of me at night. but now can see about 50m ahead and very clearly.
it is also not possible to notice that the headlights were modified which is the stock look i wanted. also, no errors on the dash and the leveling device still works perfectly from inside.
I retrofit my old RSX headlights with Morimoto Mini H1’s. Great product. I can’t do it with my 14 C300 with the adaptive lighting. Too many moving parts in the headlights.
