Press the button to select media source. I select "connect tp last device" but you might need to find the device first (after pairing). Ive noticed on my 2013 that my phone connects automatically for phone calls. Start by connecting with a phone call first to make sure there are no pairing issues. Connecring as a media device its a little more finicky.

My impression is that you can only play what is in your media library ("Music"), not from a third party application. If this is incorrect I'd be interested in hearing how to accomplish this.

i use every kind of app for music that exists. When i select my device (Samsung S7 usually) it always plays audio as it would my phone by itself.

Stupid me. It's under audio on command, but doesn't show on default screen till you scroll down. This whole command console with it's 3 way redundancy drives me crazy. I'm a fan of KISS. keep it simple stupid.
