c250 top speed

c250 top speed
The other day me and my friends were cruising along in the middle of the night. I was in a C250 1.8L 4 cylinder and I reached a speed of 132mph. I felt like it had room to climb even higher, but I ultimately decided to slow down.
It leads me to think what the actual top speed of the car is. According to mercedes, the top speed is 130mph, but I reached 132mph with room to climb even more.
Have any of you guys topped out on your C Classes?

Factory ordered 2012 MB C350 w/Dynamic Handling Package
I'll leave the soap box/public shaming to others, so I'll just stick to facts.
The top speed is ECU limited to the tire that was originally put on the car and this depends not just on the make/model, but also the region it is going to. When I was factory ordering my build (for my wedding anniversary trip to Germany), my "theoretical" top speed was higher, but since plans changed and I had to have it shipped to the the US directly (which also changed the original factory where it was coming from), it was capped to 130 (later removed with an ECU flash).
Bottom line, the C-class chassis can definitely achieve higher top speeds than 130mph.

...and read the section about "speed ratings". In summary, the speed rating is determined by the amount of heat the tire can hold, since the faster they rotate, the hotter they get.
...Drive safe...and for the love of god, please DO NOT...
#1 unlock the ECU without first upgrading your rubber
...OR...
#2 go cheap and get anything less than an "V" rated tire when it's time to change.
