Jacking up w204 by rear diff

The front tires are rotated, and now I need to do the rear staggered wheels. I've always had fwd cars before so this is first time attempting to lift by the diff. Any suggestions or advice? https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...823badf270.jpg

I've done it using the rear diff before, just make sure to place your jackstands and not to rely on the rear diff to hold it up.

Thank you, I went ahead and did that. Had to cut some little blocks of wood to fit into the recessed pocket. Also went ahead and ordered a pair of ESCO jack stands with the pivoting block-head. One more thing to buy!

Hello. Do you have 18 " staggered setups.. What do you mean by rotation ? Did you rotate them from side to side ... I was under the impression that staggered wheels could not be rotated.

Yes, side to side is the best I can do with staggered wheels (the tires are not directional). And, with it being AWD, whichever tires wear out first will trigger all 4 tires needing replaced. I'm realizing that staggered wheels on a 4matic can be an expensive option!
