Jacking up w204 by rear diff

The front tires are rotated, and now I need to do the rear staggered wheels. I've always had fwd cars before so this is first time attempting to lift by the diff. Any suggestions or advice?

I've done it using the rear diff before, just make sure to place your jackstands and not to rely on the rear diff to hold it up.

Thank you, I went ahead and did that. Had to cut some little blocks of wood to fit into the recessed pocket. Also went ahead and ordered a pair of ESCO jack stands with the pivoting block-head. One more thing to buy!

Hello. Do you have 18 " staggered setups.. What do you mean by rotation ? Did you rotate them from side to side ... I was under the impression that staggered wheels could not be rotated.

Yes, side to side is the best I can do with staggered wheels (the tires are not directional). And, with it being AWD, whichever tires wear out first will trigger all 4 tires needing replaced. I'm realizing that staggered wheels on a 4matic can be an expensive option!
