Ripped intake hose

Lately I've been smelling strong burnt gas fumes near the turbo and accidentally discovered a rip in the intake hose. See pic below. Can I replace this hose? What is the part called? Can I cut the ripped portion and reinsert the hose?

I got scared to pull the hose out since it will completely rip so I taped it for now.

Need your help.

Just had same thing happen to me. Dealer asking for $292.10 ($316.20 after tax TX). I will first try repair myself and if all fails i will get from for $230 . This is the part number #271-090-20-29

Check this thread out :https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-c...king-hose.html

I still havent fixed mine. Will try use a hose /tube to repair. Its a pain in the behind to have to pay so much money for such a small stupid hose.

Forgot to mention...Hose is part of the full intake tube so you cant get hose thats cracked only. You MUST buy the whole thing hence my attempt to repair.

I fixed mine temporarily by using JB Weld Ultimate Balck Silicon. Seems to work well. Do you smell gas fumes when parked?

Before fixing i could. Now i dont.
I fixed mine too. I used the same same pipe, embedded a smaller pipe inside it and had heat shrink tube and Clamps to finally hold it in place. Works well.

No Fumes. Sorry for delayed response.

Not sure if this thread is active but I managed to find that small tube which is about $40 compared to the $300+ for the whole intake from the dealer.

WOW, I needed this pipe, went to dealer and they only sell the entire assembly for $415.00.
Now you're talking!!

I had to take the ghetto route too until the mini hose arrives.

Hi
I had the same issue with my W204 CGI. Bought an aftermarket part. It didn't fit directly, but a hot-air-gun solved that problem. Link:

I bought this few years ago and no issue yet.
