Getting kinda bored with how vanilla my W204 looks...thinking of doing something to the grille and looking for opinions. Don’t want the completely blacked out look though.
Option A: Painting the top and lower tiers gloss black and leaving middle tier untouched to resemble AMG grille.
Option B: Painting each tier gloss black but leaving the chrome.
Option C: Diamond pattern like more recent Mercedes.
I bought some tape (like really wide pinstriping material and blacked out the top and bottom chrome bars, leaving the middle one chrome. Subtle change and it cost less than $10.
