4matic 255/40/R17 tires in the rear? Cruise control problems?

4matic 255/40/R17 tires in the rear? Cruise control problems?
Long story short, I'm looking to run 255/40R17 tires in the rear on a 4matic W204.
225/45R17Equal25.0"8.9"17 x 7-8.5"
255/40R17Equal25.0"10"17 x 8.5-10"
It appears that from a diameter perspective, it's equivalent to the front tires (surprised why MB runs 245 40 17 tires in the rear when they are 1.2% smaller in diameter vs the front), but anyways. Story for another thread.
If I run 255 40 R17 tires, will that give me cruise control problems? Anyone run that?
Yes, I've done extensive searches. Nothing concrete unfortunately.
