2011 Arctic White C300 Headlight low beam decision? Help please.
It's been many years since investing in a "make it my own" custom job and that was on an Audi. (ouch)
My criteria are white (6500Kish), bright and reliable.
I know how to change a halogen,...............to another halogen.
In my perfect world, I would love to unplug the H7 and plug in a super white and bright LED.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Billy

Yes, you can replace your halogen H7 bulb with an LED, but the better option is to go with an HID conversion kit. They are simple plug and play and the light spread from HID is more reflective of Halogen so the housing is better suited to captured and project that form of light. With LEDs, due to the surface mounted nature, you'll end up with reduced throw distance, dark spots, and light scatter. Unless the housing is designed specifically to capture LED spread, they are better suited for low throw distance lighting (interior, rear plate, fogs, etc) or indication lighting (parking, signals, reverse, etc). Whatever option you choose, you'll have to make sure they are canbus enabled.... similar to what you should have had experience with on your Audi. If interested we have top shelf Morimoto HID conversion kits as well as LED kits if you so choose that are canbus enabled, error free, and easy to install.
