iPod wire part number
I have a 08 C300 4matic with the iPod connector option. It comes from the glove box. I had a metal 30 pin connector, which was broken, as I just purchased the vehicle for winter driving. I went on line and have done extensive research on here and Benzworld. I purchased the 30 pin connector with black tip (part number: B 6 7 82 4531) and installed it by removing the glove box, etc... I also free'd up the aux port back there and drilled a new hole for it to be in the glove box. Currently,l I am using an iPhone 6 plus and it won't connect at all. I put the command one Aux ( I have command DVD with Navigation). I also put the steering wheel on audio and it shows the iPod and will say " connecting, but then says error." However, when I connect the iPod it will start charging it. I have tried using both the small 30 pin to lightning connector and the longer one (pic attached) both are Apple brand and not knock off. I have no idea what to do. I would really like this iPod feature to work.
Does anyone have any ideas????? Please Help!!!
