Dear Gurus of W204, I seek your advice and guidance. Recently I got a OBD2 bluetooth scanner and plugged it onto my W204 and I got the P00AA and B2AAA error codes at KOEO (key on engine off). I cleared the codes but they keep popping up.
I understand that P00AA is something on the IAT sensor but I am not sure if it reads the same since Merc may have different interpretation like it means P00AA - Cylinder Deactivation System Bank 1. So I'd like to know if anyone has encounter this before.
There are no error codes popping up on my Dashboard screen and the car is running fine. I may have encountered once or twice engine stall when I am at the traffic lights during engine idle. Other than that the FC is fine and pick up is really responsive. Appreciate your advice.

No reply from Gurus, I guess I will answer that. So I went to the shop that was recommended to me by my Merc Stockist and he use the MB Start Diagnostic to scan. Four error codes appeared which are the Front Parking Assist (which I know it's a bit too sensitive), the Electronic Seat which states that it needs readjustment (I don't really care about that since I don't use any settings and both seats work anyway), the rear left LED light dimming which I know will need to be changes and the Engine Starter Relay (which I had no problems with).
The P00AA and B2AAA were inaccurate. So he erased the error codes and told me to come back next service. He's such a nice guy as he didn't charge me anything at all for this. MB will charge me at least USD50 for this in my area. He also told me that if the car is running fine just leave it. The Idle and stall at traffic can be something or nothing but since it didn't appear in the diagnostic scan, just leave it. As it doesn't happen very often (like once or twice a week or sometimes none at all), it cannot be replicated to show him and he won't know what's wrong. He also said that we only need to scan what's wrong when the car dashboard shows something. Otherwise drivers need not waste their money to scan their cars all the time. So all in all, he said my car's fine and I'm happy about that.
So there you go, don't go plugging some cheap OBD2 devices into your Merc. Chances are it will give you wrong error codes and worst case scenario it will cause issues with your car as the Merc OBD port maybe damaged.
