low rpm engine sound

So im not used to the 1.8l turbo engines but I did notice when I drive in low rpm's around town(when cold or warm) that the engine almost sounds like a diesel during acceleration I mean it feels fine, but its a bit loud, I was told its the injectors but im not sure. Maybe im just to used to the smooth v6 engines I had before.

Generally, the engine is a bit louder because it is a CGI but keep in mind that almost all new gasoline engines are CGI no matter if they are 4 or 6 cylinder engines. CGI engines are more effective and quick than the others. Injectors are easily heard when the car is stationary, not that much while moving. Therefore you should check if everything is fine with your car.
