Tire question
Hey guys,
Wondering if there's any feedback with not going with MO tires when due for a replacement. I had Michelin Pilot mxm4 that are MO tires. Wanted to grab Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ but they are not original equipment for the 4matic?
Anyone think any damage can be caused to the transmission when putting on these tires, even if the sizes are still to manufacturer size recommendation?

I believe as long as the sizes are correct, other things are minor.
For my next set of tires I will more likely not to stick to original high performance, but choose all-season tires which last much longer and lower priced. I don't drive like a racer so high performance is not really needed.

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ is a great tire, picked up a set to replace crappy missmatched tires the dealer I bought my car from threw on just so they could pass inspection. As long as the sized are correct, size, stagger and rolling diameter, you're good.

I'd suggest the Michelin Primacy MXM4 myself.
