Marker lights problem

Marker lights problem
So, yesterday, after noticing a message that my front marker light was out, I checked the bulb and noticed it was burnt out. Changed it, and still no light. pulled the adjacent bulb, which was lit, and then it had no power. Now that inner socket had three wires, so I assumed it fed the outer socket. The headlight unit is sealed, so how do I find the problem? Buy a new headlight? Did I pull on the wires too hard and dislodge (disconnect) the connection inside the unit? I have no passenger side front marker light, but just as confusing, there is no longer a message on the service screen....Help!
