11 C300 noise while accelerating
every time I start accelerating and trans shifts to 2nd gear I hear this fast tapping/flapping/knocking noise its like a trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr when I let go of accelerator it becomes less, when im on idle and rev the engine theres no noise
and also my temo gauge only goes to 60c so my heat is not as hot I live in Chicago so temp is in the negatives right now if thats the cause thanks.

If it's a tinny noise... sounding like it's being made by a thin piece of metal, then look at the heat shielding around the exhaust and the cats, on older cars things start to get a little loose and they're the prime suspect. Generally what you need to do is get under the car and tap tap tap around all of the heat shields until you "hear" the same type of sound you hear in the cabin under acceleration. bend the shielding into a shape that no longer makes the sound when you tap it, and take if for a spin.
