Is there anything anyone can suggest i got 16,000 miles outve them which isnt bad on longevity, is it worth me STICKING or TWISTING??????

Hey, I thought I'd give you a response since this forum is more or less dead.
Honestly, I'd say it really depends if you are willing to go summer tires or all season.
For summer tires id say the Firestone Indy 500 are amazing but if you'd like a conservative Michelin's OEM offer with the AS3 is ideal

Continental ExtremeContact DWS06.
Expensive, but I run them all year. Grip is as good as MPSS and incredible grip in rain. Very solid in winter, and I'm even running 235/265. Sometimes the back end floats a bit because of the wide tires in 6"+ snow, but otherwise they also have an insane tread rating and have a great ride. Going from my 17's with oem contipros to 19's with these, I didn't notice any change, if anything it got more comfortable, haha.

The primacy mxm4s are basically quiet as hell....but they do dry out after 6 years even with lots of TLC.

I did the Firestone Indy 500's. 225/40/18 & 255/35/18. They are a nice, quiet, & soft tire. You will have flat spots everyday for a few minutes, until they warm a little. Price is unbeatable! Nice comparo on tirerack with these and 3 others....check it out.

I will be going with the Firestone Indy 500 when it's time. They are rated only slightly less than Michelin on Tire Rack by numerous owner reviews. Also, one of the least expensive. Only problem is that they are summer only

Just as an "FYI", the Bravuris 3 tire is basically a ContiContact made in CZ with same tread pattern but significantly less expensive, just hard to find supplier. ...I got a set for my Mazdaspeed and rate them pretty close to the Michelin Pilot A/S 3's that were previously on it.

Currently they are over-inflated so I hear some noise, but thats because winter starts me with -10 psi lol.

With the DWS06, do they get noticeably noisier as they age?

Additionally, I'm running 19's with barely any sidewall and much wider tires, so if you have 18/17 and stick to OEM sizes then they will for sure be a lot quiter and smoother.
Just go with your gut!

I haven't had the MXM4s so I couldn't really compare, however these are quieter than stock contipros. I would say that its very likely that they will get a bit noisier but not by much means.

Thanks, in all seriousness, though for the info!

I just looked at prices and for OEM 225/255 sizes it seems like the OEM contipros are more expensive than the DWS06....not sure why, because the DWS06 is a better tire, and it was much more expensive when I bought it...maybe sale? Idk.

I have the same tires as Adi does and bought them just before winter. So far they have been REALLY good in the snow, although it has been a bit of an easy winter without much heavy snow. But after about four months of use I am very satisfied. I had the previous generation Conti's on my previous car which was a Jaguar X-Type and was always satisfied with them.

Front: 225/40R18 MO Mercedes
Rear: 255/35R18 MO Mercedes
Now to set the correct air pressure and all will be well!
