2013 C350 CGI Sedan 4Matic
Which aftermarket muffler
Hi folks,
I've been reading on here for the better part of a year now and there are a lot of great pieces of information.
I have a 2013 W204 C350 Sedan. I've recently purchased a C63 diffuser and tips and I'm looking to change my mufflers. I've always liked the sound of a chambered (i.e. Flowmaster-style) mufflers, or turbo mufflers, over straight through, glass packed mufflers. The problem that I'm having is that when I got underneath the car, I realized that there isn't much room to hide a muffler so that it doesn't hang down too low. I don't want anything very loud and definitely little to no drone, but I do want a bit more snarl. I was leaning toward a Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow but I really don't think it'll fit properly. Do any of you have any experience with flowmaster on our cars, or something similar?
Also, I do mostly all my own work, except for welding, just FYI, and I'd appreciate no responses like "use the search function" or "google it". I've been doing this for months now and haven't found anything concrete, as most people seem to flock towards Magnaflow.
Thanks!
Steve
