Single Pipe Exhaust Mod
Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, just thought I'd share my mods on my C200 single pipe exhaust. I deleted everything after the main cat, then installed a 2.25" inlet 2.5" outlet Coby resonator (similar to cherry bomb resonator) in the middle, then a chambered muffler at the rear. This is what it sounds like and let me know your thoughts on the sound, or what could be a better exhaust mod for C200? P.S quad exhaust bumper is hard to get in New Zealand, if ordered from ebay is quite expensive, that's why I only go with single outlet.

Hi vodanz, For me it is hard to judge what an exhaust sounds like from a sound recording, but from your clip I think it doesn't sound too bad.
I am from across the pond in Brisbane, Australia and have a W204 C200K as well. I have also looked at quad tip diffusers ( I think you can change just the diffuser and not the whole bumper bar) but I am also thinking of just leaving it as a single outlet.
Can you tell me with your setup, does it drone in the cabin at all? I am a mechanic and drive lots of different cars and I hate the modified exhaust "drone" that some have once the exhaust has been changed from standard.
