Hey guys, I just wanted to know if it was possible to have a custom air intake like what I saw on this bmw m3. I have attached a picture of the m3 I’m talking about and a couple of pics on my 2008 C300 if you Guys would like to check them out. Thanks

theres no room to route the intakes in the grill on a w204 without serious modifications. The stock box is plenty for the m272s, drop in k&n filters are the only thing worth doing, just clean them with some brake cleaner before installing to get the oil off so they dont ruin the MAF sensor. I had the dual cone filters in front of the box and made no noticeable difference, maybe a little more intake noise then the k&n filters but I removed them the same week because they were getting heat soaked and the OEM setup is superior, heres my setup, I remove the cheap cloth piping and replaced it with 3in aluminium piping,wrapped in heat repellent wrap. I also wrapped the radiator hose and made a heat shield of the oil cooler, all this reduced IAT by 5-10degrees during hot summer days.
