would a C45 work?
i've been wondering if buying a C250 and then swapping the engine with a A45 would work well.
or you could also go for the former E250 coupe since its more or less the same car. Seems like a fun project to have something unique

C63 is out of the option due to taxes. i refuse to sponsor the state that much.
to give you some tax numbers, a C63 costs you in belgium around 4000 euro a year, a C250 391 euro.
just to register the C63 another +4000 vs 605 for the 250.
a CLA45 costs you the same on tax as a C250 btw but i don't like it inside the A/CLA
also there are some cheap 45 engines around due to total loss A45's

Depends on the engine. You could LS swap it since the lsx (I think is the one) that fits. The c63 engine bay is bigger, and the front of the car is longer so it can fit a bit more.

No its the same chassis then any other w204, the front radiator support is extended and the fenders are wider to fit bigger tires, the frame is the same, I have compared my c300 to a crashed c63 and a 6.2 will definitely fit if you have a whole donor car.

This is probably a bad idea. Not only would it cost you more than you think to make it even fit, it would likely me really hard to repair and service.
It seems like alot of trouble and alot of money for not alot of payoff. Cant you just swap out the turbos int he C250 for larger turbos?
